Ester 800 Herbicide
Profile
Ester 800 Herbicide contains the active ingredient 2,4-D, which has activity on a range of broadleaf weeds. Ester 800 is classified as a Group I Herbicide, with a mode of action where the weed cannot grow due to disruption of plant cell growth.
Applications
For the control of broadleafed weeds before direct drilling or sowing of cereals and pastures; and in cereal crops (not oats), pastures, sugar cane and non-agricultural areas as per the Directions For Use. The APVMA suspended the current label on October 3rd 2006 and has issued a new set of use instructions. Please read the supplementary label in conjunction with the previous label. These use instructions prohibit use from September 1 to April 30 as well as changing the way the product can be applied.
