Practice Sound Stewardship

Proper stewardship–from seed to market–is critical to maintaining the longevity of, and access to, Herculex® I Insect Protection technology, Dow AgroSciences actively supports and participates in industry educational programs designed to protect the effectiveness of this technology and the integrity of U.S. grain.

  • Planting a non-Bt refuge within 1/2 mile of Bt hybrids.
  • Planting 20% of corn acres as a non-Bt refuge, except in corn/cotton growing areas that require a 50% non-Bt refuge.
