The insurance plans available to eligible Dow AgroSciences employees are designed to meet your needs and the needs of your eligible dependents often providing coverage level choices. We also have an Employee Assistance Program which is designed to assist you and/or your dependents with additional personal issues.
Employee Life Insurance
Dow AgroSciences automatically provides you with basic life insurance coverage equal to your annual base salary, at no cost to you. You may purchase additional optional supplemental life insurance coverage for yourself up to six times your annual base salary.
Spouse and Child Dependent Life Insurance
Various levels of life insurance coverage are also available for your spouse/domestic partner and/or your dependent children. You may waive dependent life insurance.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
AD&D insurance provides benefits in the event of death, loss of limbs or vision as the result of an accident. You may select AD&D insurance coverage for yourself, your spouse/domestic partner and/or your dependent children. You may also waive coverage.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
You are automatically eligible to receive a benefit of up to five times your annual base salary if you should accidentally die or become seriously injured while on company-approved business travel. The maximum benefit is $2 million. There is no cost to you for this coverage.
Employee Assistance Program
Our Employee Assistance Program provides confidential counseling services through an outside vendor. to employees and their families to assist in dealing with personal issues or problems. Services available include:
