Greater China Team Rewards Key Rice Customers with an Educational Trip to Japan

陶氏益农(DAS)中国区水稻业务在2012年再创佳绩,销售额和利润均比2011年成长25%以上,为了奖励客户并更好地为明年和将来长期的水稻业务进行准备,水稻市场部组织了全国范围内的水稻重点客户和销售团队赴日本进行交流访问。

 

日本在水稻上的农药技术以其高科技而著称。中国作为一个发展中的水稻市场,日本的水稻种植用药模式可能是中国未来的一个方向。这种趋势在中国部分地区已经开始体现,因此此次交流活动对于DAS的客户和中国团队都是一次难得的学习机会。此次活动也得到了DAS日本团队的大力支持并取得了巨大的成功。

 

日韩区总裁Michiro Kurita率领日本团队参加了此次交流会议,并向来自中国的客人表示了欢迎。业务发展领导人Masato Nozawa,市场部经理Shingo Yanagiyama以及外包生产、制剂方面的专家Naohiko Kondo分别给中国的客户和商务团队讲解了日本农药市场及水稻农药市场的状况,日本水稻栽培模式,日本农药使用方式和技术,以及日本农药剂型的发展过程及未来趋势。

 

水稻市场部经理胡梦影代表中国团队致辞,产品成功领导人朱悦向客户传递了陶氏益农大中华区的发展规划并提出期望,中国客户和员工团队认真学习日本团队的经验,并积极提问交流,场面火爆。最后,上午的交流活动由全国销售总监吴浪明进行了总结,并感谢日本团队对此次活动的精心准备和大力支持

 

下午,在日本市场部经理Satoshi Joko带领下,中日两国团队一同来到位于日本千叶县的丸山制作所株式会社。该公司是日本最大的泵生产商,涉及行业包括农业、园林、环境卫生、工业和产业,在与农业相关的农药喷施设备的设计和制造上也处于领先定位。丸山制作所的工作人员向中国客户和员工介绍了公司情况,并带领全体人员参观了产品展示厅以及厂房,并将多项先进机械进行了实地演示。丸山制作所的农用打药设备所带来的高效便捷给在场的人员留下了深刻印象,让大家目睹了先进的农业技术,也对中国农业未来向高科技、高效率发展的方向有了一定了解。

 

这是水稻市场部连续第三年开展此项交流活动,这也是陶氏俱乐部重要的一项内容。DAS大中华区总经理杜晖说:“DAS的客户对于此次活动的评价很高,我相信此次活动不仅仅是一次客户激励活动,并且是向发达国家学习农业技术的好机会。相信通过这样的活动,客户会和DAS更加紧密地团结在一起,更好地推动DAS未来的业务发展,客户自身也能得到更长久的发展”。

 

 

 

Our Greater China rice business hit another high in 2012! Both revenue and margin increased over 25 percent compared to 2011. To reward the great effort of our Chinese customers and to prepare for the growth of our rice business in the coming years, the China rice tiger team organized an educational trip to Japan. Participants included our sales teams and their key nationwide rice customers.

 

Japan has an established rice pesticide, and as an emerging rice market, China is seeking to develop a more advanced crop protection technology and one of the technologies of interest is the current pesticide model used in Japan. This visit to Japan provides a valuable opportunity for both our customers and our China commercial team to learn from the Japanese experience.

 

Michiro Kurita San, Japan& Korea RCU Leader, led the Japanese leadership team to participate in this event and extended warm greetings to Chinese guests. Masato Nozawa San, Business Development Leader, Shingo Yanagiyama San, Marketing Specialist, and Naohiko Kondo San, External Manufacturing Manager, provided an overview of Japan’s pesticide and rice pesticide market, rice plantation model, pesticide application technology, as well as the formulation development history, technology and future trends.

 

During the trip, Japan Marketing Specialist Satoshi Joko San led the team to Maruyama Manufacturing Co. Inc in Chiba-ken County. As the biggest pump manufacturer in Japan, Maruyama’s business scope includes agriculture, gardening, and public hygiene. They are also a leader for pesticide applicator design and manufacturing. Maruyama experts discussed their company’s background, showed the group around the product showcase room and plant, and demonstrated the use of advanced machineries. The efficiency and convenience brought by these products and machines was very impressive, and helped the China team gain a better understanding of potential options for Chinese agriculture.
