Students and Teachers Get Hands-On with Dow AgroSciences at Agribition 2014
Science Ambassadors from Dow AgroSciences lead the theme "Research and Innovation" at the ThinkAg Career and Education Expo, part of the Canadian Western Agribition 2014, held in Regina, SK. Around 200 grade 9-12 students, and their teachers, conducted hands on activities with the Science Ambassadors, learning about DNA extraction of strawberries and healthy oils. The Dow AgroSciences Science Ambassadors’ Research and Innovation Station generated great interest for students, teachers and organizers alike.
The Science Ambassadors leading the station included M. Tahir, David Gilliland, Sara Freeman, Masood Rizvi, Eric Shaw, Leslie Mining and Gordon Munroe.
