WHY USE CLOSER™?

Tank Mixes and Mixing Instructions

Tank mixes
  • No registered tank mixes
  • Talk to your Dow AgroSciences representative or call the Solutions Center 1-800-667-3852 prior to tank mixing

Mixing Instructions
  1. Fill the spray tank with water to about 1/2 of the required spray volume.
  2. Start agitation and add the required amount of Closer.
  3. Continue agitation while mixing and filling the spray tank to the required spray volume.
  4. Maintain sufficient agitation during application to ensure uniformity of the spray mix.
  5. Do not allow water or spray mixture to back-siphon into the water source.

Grazing & Harvest

  • Brassica (cole) leafy vegetables, leafy vegetables – Do not apply within 3 days of harvest.
  • Grapes – Do not apply within 7 days of harvest.
  • Pome fruits, stone fruits – Do not apply within 7 days of harvest.
  • Root, tuberous and corm vegetables – Do not apply within 7 days of harvest.
  • Tree nuts – Do not apply within 7 days of harvest.

Precautions

  • Do not make applications less than 7 days apart.
  • DO NOT apply this product during crop flowering period or when flowering weeds are present in the treatment area (except for potatoes where applications during crop flowering period are allowed.)
  • Re-entry interval (REI) is 12 hours or until sprays have dried.
  • No buffer zones are required.

Application Guidelines

  • Boom height must be 60 cm or less above the crop or ground. 
  • Apply in sufficient spray solution to ensure thorough coverage of plant foliage. 
  • Use a minimum of 100 L of water per hectare for field sprayer applications. 
  • Use a minimum of 500 L of water per hectare for airblast applications.
