Readers of No-Till Farmer magazine have selected HERCULEX^® as the Insect Protection Product of the Year. The award was presented last week during the 16th annual National No-Tillage Conference in Cincinnati.

"This award represents what we hear from growers, agronomists and seed companies about HERCULEX," said Wally Thingelstad, eastern account manager for Dow AgroSciences, who accepted the award. "It's not just what we hear, but also what corn growers see when they look at the results from their HERCULEX fields. Hybrids with HERCULEX Insect Protection are providing higher yields and outstanding insect protection."

The HERCULEX^® family of traits protects corn from more yield-robbing insects than any other trait. The family consists of HERCULEX I Insect Protection for superior above-ground protection, and HERCULEX XTRA Insect Protection, a stacked trait that combines the two for the broadest-spectrum in-plant insect protection.  HERCULEX XTRA is the only trait that protects corn from corn rootworm, European corn borer, black cutworm and western bean cutworm.
