Protect your options with good stewardship.

Practicing sound Bt management and following grain marketing requirements are crucial responsibilities to protect your crop plan options today and in the future. When planting HERCULEX® Insect Protection hybrids, it’s important that you follow all Insect Resistance Management (IRM) and grain marketing requirements where applicable.

As a grower of hybrids protected by HERCULEX, it is important that the Product Use Guide is followed.  A formal agreement — the HERCULEX Grower Agreement — also must be signed by you before seed containing HERCULEX is purchased and delivered.  This helps ensure that guidelines and responsibilities are clear and are followed.

Complete the HERCULEX Grower Agreement now.

If you experience any technical difficulty in accessing the online Grower Agreement site, please contact Dow AgroSciences at (317) 337-4543.  Due to regulatory and other changes, these requirements occasionally may be modified.  The current Product Use Guide should always serve as your definitive source on these issues.

You also can download the HERCULEX®I Insect Protection technical bulletin and the HERCULEX RW Rootworm Protection technical bulletin for more data regarding product usage, history and genetic makeup.

Grain marketing requirements.

Market Choices logo

Grain harvested from products that bear this mark is fully approved for food and feed use in the United States and Japan, but is not approved in the European Union. You must find a market for this crop that will not ship this grain or its processed products to Europe. Appropriate markets for this grain include domestic feed use or grain handlers that specifically agree to accept this grain and handle it appropriately. For more information on your grain market options, go to the American Seed Trade Association’s Web site at www.amseed.org or call your seed supplier.
