Dow AgroSciences Announces Promotions on IVM TeamHall, Birtsas Assume VM Responsibilities INDIANAPOLIS - September 8, 2008
Dow AgroSciences has promoted Nikki Hall to the U.S. Integrated Vegetation Management marketing specialist position. In her new role, Hall will be responsible for managing the vegetation management herbicide product lines, including MILESTONE® VM, GARLON® 4 ULTRA and ACCORD® XRT II specialty herbicides. Previously, Hall was the product communications manager for the Integrated Vegetation Management and Urban Pest Management businesses, a project manager in the pest management business, and a pest management sales representative in northern Florida. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. Hall replaces Robert Stewart Jr., who has accepted a position with Cargill, Inc. Replacing Hall is Mike Birtsas, who will serve as product communications manager for the Integrated Vegetation Management and Urban Pest Management businesses. He began his career in 2003 with The Dow Chemical Company as a production engineer at the Pittsburg, Calif., manufacturing site for three years before joining Dow AgroSciences in 2006. Birtsas most recently was responsible for the northern Florida territory in the pest management business. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
