Dow AgroSciences Refuge Icons
Dow AgroSciences seed brands are featuring new refuge icons for all Bt corn hybrids. The icons will be used on seed tags and in product catalogs to indicate the refuge requirement for the Corn Belt of either 5 percent or 20 percent. By helping growers identify their refuge requirements at the time of purchase, it will help them to plan their seed and refuge needs accordingly, so they are in compliance with all EPA guidelines. In addition, the icon on the seed tag will be a convenient reminder of what the refuge requirement is when it comes time to plant.
