Dow AgroSciences Announces New Account Representative Responsibilities for
ProFume® Gas Fumigant in Florida

INDIANAPOLIS – Aug. 28, 2009 – Dow AgroSciences recently announced that sales specialists Rudy Subieta and Eric Hobelmann will now also service ProFume® gas fumigant customer accounts in Florida, in addition to their current sulfuryl fluoride responsibilities. Previously, account representative Joy Rogers had been responsible for serving ProFume customers in the state. She will remain the account representative in all other states from New Mexico to Georgia and southward.

Both Subieta and Hobelmann have extensive experience working with sulfuryl fluoride, the active ingredient in ProFume.

Subieta has worked for The Dow Chemical Company and Dow AgroSciences for more than 30 years. He has been a sales specialist focusing on structural fumigation for nearly 15 years. A co-founder of the School of Structural Fumigation in Florida, he also serves as a board member and instructor for the school.

For the past 12 years, Hobelmann has worked for Dow AgroSciences as a sales specialist focusing on structural fumigation. He has served as a board member and instructor at the School of Structural Fumigation in Florida since 1999.

"Both Rudy and Eric have extensive experience working with sulfuryl fluoride," says Dave Morris, commercial leader, U.S. Urban Pest Management for Dow AgroSciences. "They join the ProFume team at Dow AgroSciences to provide our customers with the greatest level of support."

ProFume is a broad-spectrum post-harvest fumigant that effectively controls rodents and all life stages of insects. Registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2004, ProFume® gas fumigant is in use globally and proven to be a viable economic and technical alternative to methyl bromide. Using Precision Fumigation™ tools and techniques – exclusively developed for ProFume – fumigators are able to create customized fumigation plans for each structure by entering the area volume, target pests, half-loss time, exposure time and temperature into the Fumiguide™ program. This helps to enhance effectiveness and alleviate the downtime typically associated with fumigation.
