Scientific Name: Hypericum perforatum

Family: Clusiaceae

Structure: Erect, numerous branches, woody at the base, 1-3 feet tall, rust-colored with two ridges.

Life Cycle: Perennial, reproducing by seeds or short runners.

Leaves: Oval in shape with predominant veins and covered with transparent dots.

Flowers: Yellow flowers with five petals and many stamen, ¾ inch in diameter.

Roots: Branched and capable of sending up shoots.

Recommendation:
5 to 7 fluid ounces per acre of Milestone® herbicide.

1 to 2 pints of Tordon 22K herbicide plus 1 lb active ingredient of 2,4-D per acre.



Treatment Timing:

Apply to actively growing plants up to late bloom.
