  March 27, 1997: Adoption by the National Assembly, of the modified version of the bill - Text n. 688
  May 26, 1998: Adoption with modifications by the Senate
  
  
• Adoption of the law
  May 26, 1999: Adoption by the National Assembly of the modified law
  "aimed at protecting buyers and building owners from termites and other xylophagous insects"
  
  June 9, 1999: Publication in the Official Bulletin (equivalent of the Gazette or Congressional Record)
