River Glen Country Club

River Glen Managing turf so it's healthy and playable is the philosophy of Dan Kaar, superintendent at River Glen Country Club in Fishers, IN.

The 18-hole championship course runs along the White River and is vulnerable to disease, like dollar spot. Dollar spot was a major problem on the fairways and approach areas, and also battled brown patch during the warm months. Kaar was in search of a dependable solution.

In 2004, he applied Eagle® 20EW specialty fungicide to the course. Within days of the first application, the appearance of the disease was greatly diminished.

"Eagle fixed our problems right away. It showed the most efficacy and the least resistance of any other DMI products we've used on our course. I was very impressed with the results I got," Kaar says.
