Dow AgroSciences Product Registration Changes

In 2013, there will be some key changes to the Dow AgroSciences grassland range. This bulletin is intended to bring you up to date with current approvals regarding Dow’s grassland triclopyr products:

Doxstar® MAPP no 11063

  • The sale and distribution of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2013
  • The disposal, storage and use of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2014

Doxstar Pro MAPP no 15664

Doxstar Pro is a new high load formulation to replace Doxstar. It contains 150 g/L triclopyr and 150 g/L fluroxypyr. It has a maximum use rate of 2.0 L/ha and will be available in 2.0 L packs. There are some label changes over Doxstar, namely the restriction of use to established grassland.

Grazon® 90 MAPP no 13117

  • The sale and distribution of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2013.
  • The disposal, storage and use of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2014.

Grazon Pro MAPP no 15785

Dow has successfully gained approval for a new formulation with the same active ingredient concentrations as Grazon 90. This newer formulation like Doxstar Pro will be available to the market from 2013.

Pastor® MAPP no 11168

This product has now received approval for farm use until 31st October 2019 with the same MAPP number. However there are some changes to the new label. These changes restrict its use to established grassland between 1st March and 31st October and use through a knapsack is no longer permitted.

The revocation timelines for current label Pastor are as follows:

  • The sale and distribution of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2013.
  • The disposal, storage and use of existing stocks will end on 30th June 2014.

Thistlex® MAPP no 11533

This product is approved until 31/12/2021 so no changes for use this year.
