New grassweed chemistry, a pest clinic and a chance to win use of a compact tractor on the Dow AgroSciences stand at Cereals 2008

UK - June 03, 2008

There will be plenty to see and do on the Dow AgroSciences stand (444) at Cereals 2008.

First is an opportunity to see new grassweed herbicides in action. The new Dow AgroSciences’ chemistry that is currently being developed is set to revolutionise grassweed control in the UK.

Stand visitors can also complete a grassweed quiz. The first prize in the competition will be use of a New Holland compact tractor and mower for a year.

At the pest and beneficials clinic, growers can get help identifying insects from Dow AgroSciences experts. While in their conservation area Dow AgroSciences have teamed up with FWAG to look at the best ways of establishing grass margins to encourage biodiversity and natural pest predators.
