New appointments at Dow AgroSciences

Toby Robeson has been appointed as Northern Region Business Manager for agrochemical manufacturer Dow AgroSciences in place of Chris Pye who has taken on the position of Customer Business Manager. 

Mr Robeson, who will cover Nottinghamshire, Lancashire, County Durham and Yorkshire, has spent much of his career in agronomy roles, mainly in northern Britain. He joins from agrochemical distributor UAP. He trained at Shuttleworth College, Bedfordshire where he gained a HND in agriculture with marketing and crop protection as his specialist subjects.

Mr Robeson said: “It is an exciting time to join Dow AgroSciences as the company brings new chemistry, such as pyroxsulam – the main ingredient of Broadway Star – to the market.”

Dow AgroSciences’ Donald Westwater added: “I am delighted to welcome Toby to the team. His knowledge of agronomy in northern Britain will make him a valuable addition to our team serving our distributors, independent agronomists and their farmer customers.”
