Dow AgroSciences appoints Regional Business Manager for South-West

Dow AgroSciences has appointed James Lewis as its Regional Business Manager for the South-West, including Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and Avon,

James, who previously worked as a development agronomist based in the Hereford and Worcestershire area, has a strong agricultural background in mixed arable farming. He graduated in 2004 from Seale-Hayne College with a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture. James has also gained his BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection and BASIS Certificate in Soil and Water Management.

James said: “I have already begun to familiarise myself with the area. I am delighted to be working with Dow AgroSciences’ leading grassland products such as Doxstar and Forefront, as well as innovative cereal herbicides such as Broadway Star. This is an exciting time to join Dow AgroSciences, with a number of innovative new products in the development pipeline.”

Dow AgroSciences’ UK Managing Director, Donald Westwater said: “James further strengthens our team in the field. His mixed farming background is ideal to serve our distributors, agronomists and their farmer customers in the South West.”
