Keystone® + Hornet® WDG Herbicides
Nothing matches the performance of a tank mix of Keystone® + Hornet® WDG herbicides for weed control. The broad-spectrum control of this program makes it an ideal one-pass option for conventional corn.
- It controls more weeds better than a premix of metolachlor, mesotrione and atrazine (Lumax or Lexar herbicide), including cocklebur, common and giant ragweed, Pennsylvania smartweed, sunflowers, wild proso millet and woolly cupgrass.
- A tank mix of acetochlor + Hornet WDG pumps, flows and cleans up easier than Lumax or Lexar. Lumax or Lexar may settle and set up in lines or hoses when left sitting idle overnight.
- Acetochlor activates with only 1/4 inch of rainfall; metolachlor requires 1/2 inch of rainfall for activation.
- A tank mix offers flexibility so you can adjust rates based upon soil pH and organic matter content.
