Curtail® herbicide  

Active Ingredient: clopyralid and 2,4-D

Profile: Curtail® herbicide is a broad-spectrum broadleaf herbicide for use in small grains, including spring wheat, winter wheat and barley. Uses for range, pasture, CRP and fallowland are also on the label. Curtail provides outstanding control of weeds such as Canada thistle, common cocklebur, volunteer sunflower and many other problem weeds.

Labeled Crops:

Application Timing:
Postemergence – Four-leaf stage (tillering has begun) through jointing

Apply before weeds exceed 3 inches in height or diameter

Canada thistle – Apply after majority of basal leaves have emerged, but before budding
