Foundation Weed Control Boosts Soybean Yields

Research from Southern Illinois University shows that for each inch of weed growth in soybeans, you can lose 0.7 bu./A. That's nearly $6 in lost profitability per inch of weed growth when soybean prices are $8.50/bu.1

For example, in the Southern Illinois trials, a grower could have protected 6 bu./A by using a pre-post spray program versus making his first weed control application with glyphosate when weeds were 4 to 6 inches tall. That's $51 in lost gross revenue per acre.
