Grower Agreement
A signed Grower Agreement must be secured for the grower to take delivery of seed containing WideStrike® Insect Protection. This agreement contractually binds the grower to adhere to IRM and other requirements.
There are three steps to completing the Grower Agreement:
-
A Product Use Guide must be provided and thoroughly reviewed by the seed dealer with the grower. The grower should understand the Product Use Guide prior to signing the Grower Agreement.
-
The Grower Agreement must be signed and grower contact information obtained. Having a valid executed Grower Agreement on file with Dow AgroSciences is necessary to legally obtain, plant and grow WideStrike cotton. Failure to comply with the terms of the Grower Agreement or the Product Use Guide may result in a grower's forfeiting the privilege to grow WideStrike cotton.
-
Once signed, copies of the Grower Agreement must be properly distributed. The grower should keep the pink copy, while white and canary copies are returned to Dow AgroSciences.
For so long as you have a valid Grower Agreement for WideStrike in effect, Dow AgroSciences will use reasonable efforts to send you the current Product Use Guides and other periodic updates relating to WideStrike. To obtain a copy of the current WideStrike® Insect Protection Grower Agreement, contact your authorized WideStrike cottonseed dealer or Dow AgroSciences at 1-800-258-3033 or visit www.WideStrike.com.
