Each Certified Sentricon Specialist™ has a unique Customer Code for each location or branch that is authorized to sell and service Sentricon. This eight-digit number is used for identification purposes for invoicing; software; ordering literature, bait and components; and access to online training. Please have this number available when placing orders or making requests.
For multi-branch locations, there is also a “Liable Number” assigned to your business, but most often you will just use the individual branch Customer Code for all identification needs.
Refer to this page for component ordering information.

Located at www.sentriconuniversity.com, all of the Certified Sentricon Specialist training can now be conducted from the convenience and comfort of your office or from the participant's home, both via online access. Some of the benefits of the online training include:
Accessing Sentricon University
In order to access Sentricon University at www.sentriconuniversity.com, users will need to know their company's CSS Code. Once the company-specific code has been entered, new users will need to register in order to gain access to the training site. Returning users simply enter their previously created username and password for access to the training content.
Using Sentricon University
This training program is meant to be viewed individually – multiple trainees should not view the program at the same time.
Training will take approximately 3 - 4 hours depending on your pace and connection speed. However, it does not have to be completed in one session. At anytime, you can pause or close out of a module and return where you left off.
There are three training modules, with mini quizzes within each module. These quiz questions are used for practice only. Your score will not be tracked on the quizzes. Once all three modules have been completed, there will be a final module that just includes the Final Exam. The Final Exam contains 50-60 questions. Once the exam has been started, it MUST be completed in one session. Additionally, the test taker must receive a score of 75% or more in order to pass.
Upon successful completion of the Final Exam, an Authorization Certificate will automatically be generated in the test taker’s name once you close the module. This certificate can be printed, as well as saved electronically. It is imperative that you do this at this time, as you will not be able to return to the certificate at a later time without repeating the exam. NOTE: It is important for the trainee to sign into the Final Exam module using his/her own name, as that is the name which will appear on the Authorization Certificate, and will print exactly as entered.
Still have questions?
We know training is a key component to quality service and effectiveness. There may be times when questions arise that are beyond the scope of the Sentricon University training. Please communicate any questions or concerns with your Dow AgroSciences Sales Representative, as that person will continue to be a valuable resource when it comes to providing advanced training for you and your company.
Technical Questions and Support
You can call the Sentricon Help Desk at 800‑888‑5511, Option 3, for technical assistance and support for Sentricon University.
The Sentricon® System is a comprehensive, all-inclusive program, where the costs associated with the installation are based on the size of the structure being treated.
Though the concept of measuring linear footage for Sentricon seems simple, there are a variety of factors to consider with each property you evaluate.
Picture an aerial view of the structure. Enclose the structure with a single, continuous line by tracing the furthest exterior perimeter (typically the roof line), as indicated by the red roofline in this example.
If anything protrudes beyond this initial line, a decision must be made based on the following criteria:
Use the following flow chart to determine whether to expand the initial line:
The success of the Sentricon® System depends on termites feeding on the monitoring device and Recruit termite bait. Contamination of any of these components (the monitoring device, Baitube® device, Recruit® HD termite bait, Recruit IV termite bait, Recruit® AG termite bait or Sentricon station) with other pesticides could deter termite activity, reducing the effectiveness of the product. Therefore, contact with other pesticides in storage, shipment and handling should be avoided.
Recruit HD, Recruit IV and Recruit AG can absorb liquids and odors. While they are packaged in sealed containers, they should not be stored in the presence of pesticides or other chemicals. When possible, components of the Sentricon System, including Recruit termite bait, should be stored away from pesticides and other chemicals. If any pesticide or other substance is spilled on components of the Sentricon System, isolate these components and contact your Dow AgroSciences sales representative for instructions on their disposal, or call the Sentricon Help Desk at 800-888-5511, Option 6.
Used Sentricon stations, consumed bait devices and other used components should be properly disposed of in an approved landfill facility according to label directions. Please check the label or contact your Dow AgroSciences sales representative with questions.

For great advertising results, use the prepared radio scripts, print logo sheets, ad slicks, preproduced radio spots, or television commercials available at no cost from Dow AgroSciences. These high-quality, easy-to-use materials are your quickest route to excellent production quality and a compelling sales message. All of these resources can be found within the Advertising section of our website.
There are several radio scripts and preproduced radio spots available. We offer both the printed script version and a finished professionally preproduced series. While the total finished time of these commercials is 30 seconds, they actually have 20 seconds of prerecorded audio and up to 10 seconds available for your tag. The 20/10‑second local announcer-read radio spots can be produced by your local radio station, or you can order the professional prerecorded spots and have the radio station add your company name, phone number and/or website in the last 10 seconds.
Dow AgroSciences also has a 30-second cable television spot available. This high-quality preproduced spot is in a format used by your local cable provider. Ask the cable company to place your company name and phone number in the last 10 seconds of the commercial.
Additionally, newspaper ad slicks for the Sentricon® System are camera-ready except for the addition of your company name, phone number and logo. The print ad slicks, camera-ready logo sheets, radio scripts, and professionally preproduced radio spots and cable TV commercial are all available online.
The following guidelines apply to the logos and trademarks used by Certified Sentricon Specialists in connection with the Sentricon® System. To protect the integrity of these trademarks, you must follow these guidelines when developing Sentricon advertising materials and signage.
The Sentricon logo cannot be altered in dimension and/or color. The logo should be in the correct colors or in all black or all white. The Sentricon logo must be at least half the size as the CSS company logo in all advertising.
Never use the Sentricon design logo (geometric design) by itself.
Never use the Sentricon design logo in a color other than the approved PMS color(s). All black or all white can be used if the background is sufficiently contrasted and the logo is legible. It is not appropriate to use the design logo in your company colors.
Never change the standard Sentricon logo.
